Home Remodeling & Handyman Services in Vail, CO
Vail is where most of our work happens. Edgar has spent years remodeling in the Village, Lionshead and both ends of the valley floor, so he already knows the loading dock rules, the elevator reservations and the quiet hours that decide whether a condo remodel finishes on schedule or drags into ski season.
Almost every Vail project is a puzzle of access and timing. Materials have to be staged, deliveries have to be coordinated with HOA managers, and the work usually has to be done in the two windows when the town breathes: mud season in spring and the stretch between Labor Day and Thanksgiving.
Neighborhoods we work in
The homes we remodel in Vail
1970s–80s Village and Lionshead condos
Compact floor plans with dropped soffits, original galley kitchens and undersized baths. Opening a wall or moving plumbing usually means working around shared stacks and getting sign-off from the association first.
Alpine chalets in East and West Vail
Heavy timber, tongue-and-groove ceilings and dated finishes. Refinishing the existing wood often makes more sense than replacing it, then new cabinets, tile and lighting can be added around it.
Rental and lock-off units
Owners want durable surfaces that survive turnover: porcelain tile that reads like stone, solid-core doors, and built-in storage that lets a small unit sleep more guests.
What Vail homeowners ask for most
Condo kitchen reworks
Removing the soffit, taking cabinets to the ceiling and swapping the peninsula for a real island where the plan allows it.
Bathroom and shower rebuilds
Full waterproofing, curbless pans, niches and heated floors, built to protect the unit below.
Built-ins and bunk rooms
Custom carpentry that turns a hallway or a spare corner into storage, a bunk alcove or a hidden door.
Off-season punch lists
Handyman rounds for owners who are out of town: trim, doors, drywall repair, fixture swaps, small tile fixes.

Building in Vail: what makes it different
Work in the windows
We plan Vail remodels around the two quiet seasons and build the schedule backward from your first booking or arrival date.
HOA-ready from day one
Insurance certificates, work-hour limits, elevator pads and trash staging get handled before the first tool comes out of the truck.
Built for altitude
At 8,150 feet, dry air and freeze-thaw cycles are hard on wood, caulk joints and exterior finishes. Materials and details are chosen with that in mind.
Vail remodeling questions
Do you work with Vail HOAs and property managers?
Yes. Most Village and Lionshead buildings require an approved work plan, proof of insurance and set work hours. We handle that paperwork and coordination as part of the job.
When is the best time to remodel a Vail condo?
Spring mud season and September through mid-November are the easiest windows. Booking a few months ahead is what keeps a project out of ski season.
Can you manage a project while I am out of state?
That is normal here. Edgar sends photo updates through the job and is the same person on site every day, so there is one point of contact.
